Our LineSource models open up a huge variety of configuration options including very high sensitivity systems which can be driven well by low powered single ended tube amps.
The LineSource models include our new Oval Ribbons which are high sensitivity neodymium based Ribbon engines housed in oval shaped oak sheathing and designed for the coaxial application.
Their sound and technical specifications are all extremely close to the R-Series Ribbons except for sensitivity which is higher.
The LineSource Reference uses formed enclosures which give them tremendous rigidity, excellent wall damping and very low levels of internal standing waves.
Outside, the broad radius of the vertical edges promotes laminar flow around the cabinet and minimizes diffraction and baffle bounce.

The Newform Research Ribbon LineSource speakers provide a larger sweetspot and reduce degrading room interference better than any previous loudspeaker design.
These speakers use our new Oval Ribbon which is a version of the classic Newform Ribbon optimized for the coaxial configuration with a reduced acoustic profile.
The Coaxial Ribbon LineSource models reduce the degrading reflections inherent in any installation using conventional loudspeakers and thus reduce the work of any room correction system.
